ATELIER DARWIN

In this project, our studio was in charge of the technical development and construction work, in collaboration with the designer architects. This was an atelier for an Argentine plastic artist and designer. In a restored historic building, an old factory, the concept of this project was an open and diafane space. The inclined ceiling, of triple height, has a great presence in every space and it seems to have been made by an origami artist. There were many challenges in the construction, among which, we developed a helicoidal, self-supporting staircase made entirely of iron and assembled on site.
